- Identify a Traveler: Think of a specific student, parent, or colleague who is currently “banged up” by cultural ideologies.
- Map the Journey: Work through the 4 quadrants of the Empathy Map for this specific person.
- 1. The Robbers (What is influencing them?)
- 2. The Wounds (How is the hurt showing up?)
- 3. The Inn (What safe space and hard truths do they need?)
- 4. The Healing (What are the signs of health?)
- Keep the Healing Going: Brainstorm a future Staff PD or interactive student lesson that would help sustain this health.
