Herman Armstrong is a recipient of the Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) from the Harvard Business School. Learning to overcome adversity by following his mother’s advice to “always be proactive” has led to years of success as a Leadership Coach, Pastor, and Executive Director. Through Kathairo Solutions, LLC, Herman focuses on helping individuals better understand themselves and others to navigate leadership issues successfully. And, as a native St. Louisan, of course he loves watching the St. Louis Cardinals!

Kathairo Solutions exists to build bridges of love and understanding for God’s glory. By its very nature, ministry depends on meaningful and genuine connections between people. Because of the brokenness of our world, cross-cultural communication is hard. Preconceived notions and misunderstandings destroy opportunities to hear others and develop relationships. Yet, this is the only way to begin the process of true healing. God calls His people to live in unity regardless of ethnicity, race, or social distinctions (Gal. 3:28; Col. 3:11). Kathairo Solutions aims to aid individuals and organizations in submitting to this courageous work God has called us to for the purpose of promoting unity and togetherness. Christ’s nature in us allows us to listen to others well and speak with a heart of love.
Like the relationship between a vine and a branch, the people of God are called to reproduce the life and character of Christ in their own lives ( John 15:2). Jesus goes on to say that believers are pruned or cut for the purpose of bearing more fruit. The Greek word rendered “prune” is kathairo. Branches are pruned to produce even more fruit. Often that pruning or purging includes calling out our own biases and blindspots so that we can engage in hard conversations well.
