The True Solution

Good leaders understand the need to walk with others in handling their emotions. The best supervisors know how to intuit the feelings of others so they can respond with the right level of care and concern. Impactful leaders are skilled in offering a listening ear, helping others clarify their thoughts, and providing sound counsel or advice. Yet there is one thing leaders cannot give others is peace. Not even the most skilled psychology expert or the most empathic pastor can do this. No, the best leaders know that helping others find peace means pointing others to the power of God. The verses below reveal the peace that is available to the people of God. Jesus came and offered His life for he sins of the world. After rising from the dead, He promised to return and take His people to a safe new world full of peace!

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

-John 14:1-3

The Lord is preparing a place for His people!

In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:

“We have a strong city;
    he sets up salvation
    as walls and bulwarks.
Open the gates,
that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in.
You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
    because he trusts in you.
Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

-Isaiah 26:1-4

This is a prophesy of a song God’s people will sing in eternity!

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

-Philippians 4:4-9

This is a promise from God. Give your concerns to Him and apply the Bible to your life. You will have God’s peace!

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
